This website is a resource for both new and advanced tortoise owners. Here you will find information on diet, health, and housing. The main focus are Grassland, Arid, and Mediterranean species. There are no species specific caresheets at this time, rather an overview on husbandry needs. No two species are identical in their requirements.
Please take the time to browse all of the available articles. This site is continuously undergoing update and construction. You never know what new thing you may find. In the near future I hope to be able to provide individual caresheets for some of the most popularly kept tortoises.
I know that all of this information can be very difficult for a new or prospective tortoise owner to take in all at once. Getting a tortoise is a lifetime and very detailed commitment.
